1. Life
Jean Dorrell was born in 1938. At around 1952, she took up smoking. In January 2020, she began the process of giving up smoking, being in the high dependency unit of her local hospital having been admitted with a mysterious respiratory illness. She made friends easily, but disengaged the edit button to her thoughts with similar ease. She wasn’t perfect, but she was my mum. She died on 27 March 2023.
